Kathy Schwarz is a fine artist known for her colorful nature-inspired art. She has developed her innate sense of color, design and composition to create vibrant works of art. She began developing her personal artistic style as a teenager while studying art in the Mexican colonial town of San Miguel de Allende. Her studies continued in San Antonio where she earned a B.A. in Studio Art at Trinity University.
Over the years, Kathy has consistently produced art in a variety of mediums including stained glass, watercolors, acrylics, colored pencil, ink, ceramics, and decorative wall designs and murals. Working in different mediums has strengthened and influenced her work and sense of design.
Another strong influence in Kathy’s art is her love of nature. This influence has been strengthened by living in The Rio Grande valley, a birders destination, and opportunities to spend time in places known for their natural beauty like Alaska, Hawaii and Africa. Nature as a subject continues to provides this artist with an endless source of inspiration.
